The Hillsborough Arts Council presents a special evening concert in the lush private gardens of one of History Hillsborough’s finest homes, The Nash Hooper House. Soprano Andrea Edith Moore and virtuoso violinist and composer Jennifer Curtis met in High School at the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem. Since then, busy careers have taken them both round the globe, Andrea, triumphing under the batons of some of the world’s greatest conductors, Jennifer taking Carnegie Hall by storm in a concert described by the New York Times as "one of the gutsiest and most individual recital programs ever.” Lucky for us, they both live right here in NC’s Triangle Area, Andrea regularly starring with NC Opera and Jennifer breaking down musical boundaries in collaborations with musicians from around the globe at her farm, The Haven, in Chapel Hill.
