About the Event
Gazebo at entrance to Fair Oaks Community (intersection of Hillsborough and Parkview Ave).
Senegalese Kora player Diali Cissokho, (pronounced Jelly) comes from many generations of griots, otherwise known as storytellers who would travel from village to village telling of history through song, poetry and music.
The Kora is a west African harp, made with a gourd and 22 strings that are made of fishing wire.
On the other hand my violin was made in 1777 in Italy… But we meet at many harmonious places.
